Alf Landon Begins Career

Alf-Landon-1908Alfred (Alf) Landon graduates from the KU School of Law. He would go on to win the 1932 Governorship of Kansas, serving two terms. He was the republican candidate for U.S. President in 1936, running against  winner Franklin D. Roosevelt. Landon's daughter, Nancy Landon Kassebaum Baker, is a former U.S. Senator from Kansas.
